The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) mandates monthly water testing and reporting of results for our PWSI. In addition the DEQ requires our HOA to document and make available to our community the results from any additional water testing to assure water quality and safety to the community as deemed necessary. The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) require our HOA to report any events that have occurred related to our water quality and water distribution system.

22 Hour Power Failure
On July 25th, 2024 A historic wind storm caused a 22 hour power outage. Pump house went to zero pressure for 12 hours. All three Phases were notified to Boil Water. All three Phases were tested for Coliform or E-Coli presence – ALL NEGATIVE!
This repair was reported to all board members and homeowners.

Electrical Inspection
On June 3rd, 2024 Pete’s Electric came on site to do an inspection of the electrical wiring of the new controller for PUMP 2 in Pump House II/III.

May 31, 2024
Repair of Pump House II/III
On May 31th, 2024 three pressure tanks were successfully replaced and put into operation. PUMP 2 was replaced with a variable – on demand pump with solid state controller.

Removal of 3 Pressure Tanks
On May 30th, 2024 three pressure tanks were emptied for removal and replacement. The removal took three individuals a total of 8 1/2 hours. In addition PUMP 2 was inoperative with only PUMP 1 operational.

Starter-Controller Failure
On March 27th, 2024 on a pump house check it was discovered the controller-pump starter was going bad. On March 28th, 2024 the controller was replaced. Also replaced were both pressure tanks and the pressure switch.

August 7, 2023
Loss of Water Pressure Reported
On August 7th, 2023 a loss of water pressure was reported at 7:55 AM. It was determined that both Pump One and Pump Two Controllers were in need of replacement. Both Controllers were replaced successfully on August 10th, 2023.
This repair was reported to all board members and homeowners.
February 4, 2023
Major Water Leak Reported
On February 4th, 2023 a report was made to Craig Milam that we had a break on a curb stop in our distribution line located on Wild Goose Lane. On Tuesday and Wednesday, February 7 and 8, repairs were made and completed on the water line break.
This curb stop/water line distribution break will be discussed at the June 2023 General Meeting.

October 9, 2024 Lab test results returned concerning Manganese Testing. Manganese at both well is negligible – no health risk.
